In January 2026, at the initiative of our alumni, the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Orchestra was established to become the force we once lacked—providing a solid legal and material foundation for the collective.
We are no longer just “former students”. We are a community of established, successful, and committed professionals.
NGO «AViDO» is our way of expressing gratitude for our childhood.
We have united to preserve the unique musical heritage of our ensemble and to create the necessary conditions for the development of new generations of musicians.
Mission and Goals
The mission of the Organization is to unite orchestra alumni and other individuals to preserve and develop Ukrainian musical traditions, support creative initiatives, promote the cultural and educational development of Ukrainian society, and enhance the prestige of the orchestra and Ukrainian folk music.

Played in the Orchestra from 1982 to 2004 as a Contrabass Balalaika player. He returned to active participation in the Orchestra in September 2025.
